When concrete surfaces suffer damage from cold temperatures, chemical attack, alkali-silica reaction (concrete cancer) or latent defects, they can break down causing serious safety issues on runways and highways. This can be costly and disruptive to repair.

As a preventative treatment, Roadgrip offers a range of concrete protection treatments in the form of a superior resin coating that seals the surface and improves friction. This makes it particularly suitable for airfields.

The extremely hardwearing sealant prevents water ingress and resulting frost damage, which in turn lengthens the life of the concrete significantly. Quick to apply, it offers a cost-effective method for extending pavement quality concrete (PQC) for an estimated 10-20 years.

The resin system can also be used decoratively to enhance the aesthetics and smoothness of the surface as well as sealing large areas of concrete.

Key Benefits of Roadgrip Surface Coatings:

  • Treats top layer, small cracks and spalls in concrete
  • Improves skid resistance
  • Ideal for runways, taxiways and helipads
  • Cost effective
  • Improves concrete longevity
  • Fast installation
  • Provides protection from jet blast, fuel spills and de-icers
