The Roadgrip Motorsport team are back at the Yas Marina Circuit in Abu Dhabi painting the track markings for the 2021 Grand Prix.
The F1 circuit, which has seen a major circuit redesign this year, now features changes to the hairpin at the start of the back straight, a new banked corner at Turn 9, and three kerb improvements around the hotel buildings. This will result in a track that, some say, will be 10 seconds faster than the previous.
Working with Abu Dhabi Motorsport Management (ADMM), our team were on site to paint their stunning new designs on the track. We originally worked on the design look and feel and paint install at Yas Marina back in 2009. The iconic turquoise colour remains a renowned feature of the venue today.
Using the anti-slip FIA paint system, we applied over 100,000 square meters of paint to the circuit’s edge lines, run-offs and sponsor branded areas. Well done to a sterling effort by our team for achieving excellent workmanship and precision track markings for this incredible track.
