The Roadgrip Motorsport team were delighted to be back line marking and circuit painting for F1 in preparation for the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort in the Netherlands. Like last year, we were brought in to make the track markings pop for the drivers and global audiences.
We used FIA approved paint for the track, as we do for all Formula 1 races. This quick-drying paint is formulated to be anti-slip to help enhance driver safety without sacrificing performance. Because it is water-based, it is easy to remove post-race with reduced impact on the environment too.
For this Grand Prix event, we refreshed all of the sporting lines (edge lines, grid, kerbs, pit lane and run-offs) and applied some markings in the paddock. We also painted sponsor logos to the grass areas around the circuit.
The banked corners require some mastery when applying tight line markings but this is routine work for our team.
