The Roadgrip team has been track painting the UK’s fastest indoor go kart track in Canary Wharf in preparation for the grand opening by Capital Karts.
In the 80,000 sq foot basement of this city address in London, in what used to be a car park, the 800-metre track features multiple twists and turns for the eco-friendly, re-chargeable electric karts.
Our track painting crew were on site for a week applying racing lines, edge lines, pit lane markings, red run-off areas, and red and white curves to the circuit. Before we started, we ran compatibility tests on their floor coatings to ensure the right paint was chosen for vibrancy, safety and longevity.
We opted for epoxy paints often used in car parks and airports. This paint is resistant to impact, fire, chemicals and spills, and is easy to maintain and clean thanks to its protective coating.
We kept the finish super smooth with the company’s brand colours and design.
