The Roadgrip LLC motorsport team had the privilege of working with New Hampshire Motor Speedway in Loudon, New Hampshire, to prepare the track for one of the most exciting events on the NASCAR calendar: the Round of 12 playoffs.
Our role was to come in and stripe all the track markings, including the unique speciality markings required by NASCAR. From crisp grid lines and pit road markings to start-finish details and safety references, every detail was carefully laid out using high-performance paint designed to withstand the intensity of a NASCAR race weekend.
New Hampshire Motor Speedway is affectionately nicknamed “The Magic Mile”. Opened in 1990, it’s the largest sports and entertainment facility in New England and has hosted everything from NASCAR Cup Series races to motorcycle events and even concerts. Its one-mile oval is known for close, competitive racing where precision matters which means that accurate, durable track markings are absolutely vital.
NASCAR racing puts unique demands on circuits. With cars running wheel-to-wheel at high speeds, the clarity of pit road lines, restart zones, and caution markings can influence strategy, safety, and the overall flow of the race. Roadgrip’s experience in motorsport (from Formula 1 and Formula E to national series across the US) means we know exactly what’s needed to deliver markings that meet both technical standards and the expectations of race officials.
One of the bonuses of working at New Hampshire Motor Speedway in the fall is the scenery. Nestled in the Northeast’s rolling countryside, the venue is surrounded by forests just starting to change colour. With autumn arriving in New England, our team got to enjoy the spectacular backdrop of fiery reds and golds as fall and racing came together in perfect harmony.
With the fresh striping completed, the track was fully race-ready for the arrival of drivers and fans. The NASCAR Round of 12 is one of the most exciting playoff stages, and we’re proud to be involved.
For Roadgrip LLC, it was another opportunity to combine technical precision with the passion of motorsport, ensuring that The Magic Mile looked as sharp as ever for one of the biggest events of the year.
