Roadgrip Motorsport have been painting the new circuit in Miami, Florida, for the F1 GP 2022. Our team undertook all trackside painting and surface grip improvement works at this iconic 19-turn street circuit.
The circuit at Miami International Autodrome in Miami Gardens weaves around the Hard Rock Stadium, which is home to the famous Miami Dolphins American football team. This very much dictated the look and feel of the circuit design.
We applied the signature Miami Dolphins aqua blue colour and palm tree patterns to create one of our most striking run off designs to date.
The track has a top speed of roughly 198 mph and, whilst it is a temporary circuit, the layout is more like a permanent track. With that in mind, surface grip and safety were paramount.
All works were spray applied using FIA compliant anti-skid paint, which provides predictable grip over the run-off areas for drivers.
The team did a great job and the final result was visually striking.
