F1 Line Marking

It’s the Formula 1 Pirelli British Grand Prix 2020 this weekend at Silverstone in the UK, and the Roadgrip motorsport team has returned to prep the track with sharp lines ready for the race.

We return year on year to this famous motorsport circuit to paint the track markings for F1’s events.

As world leaders in motorsport track marking, we’re trusted by the world’s leading racing circuits to ensure their track markings are FIA compliant and work for the drivers as well as creating visual impact for TV and media broadcasts – especially this year with no spectators in the stands.

This year, we’ve painted the edge lines, grids and pit markings around the circuit in FIA approved paint for safety.

We also applied roadway markings internally at the venue to make it clear to the service vehicles where to go, and assisted with the installation of surface branding for some of the race sponsors.

We’ll be returning next week to refresh the markings in preparation for the next race, as they have two big events in a row at Silverstone. We can’t wait to watch – albeit from TV this time round!
