The Roadgrip Motorsport Indonesia (RMI) team are back on the beautiful island of Lombok to build the track for MotoGP 2022 in March.
This has been an exciting project from the start when the team were brought in to manage all track operations for the region’s first racing circuit back in 2021. Back then, we helped to create an incredible venue from the ground up with MGPA and our industry partners. In record time, Mandalika was ready to host the World Super Bikes championship on its brand new circuit.
Q1 of 2022 is all about the MotoGP and with the test this coming weekend, it’s been an all-hands-on-deck project to get the track ready. The tyre walls are now up and the digi flags and conveyer belt have been installed.
