In preparation for the new motorsport season, Roadgrip have been removing the paint from the track at the Jeddah Corniche Circuit for the Saudi F1 2023 event. This is the third year our team have returned to the iconic track to prepare the surface for the F1 calendar.

Using ultra high-pressure water (UHP) and specialised machines, the team removed dirt, rubber and paint from last year’s run-off designs. We also provided equipment training for the venue operatives using their own machines.

We needed to overcome a few challenges that can arise with locations like these, such as access to clean potable water, location of waste water sites and accessing local suppliers for various resources. All of this is standard practice for our global team who have the experience to carry out professional works anywhere in the world.

Our crew cleaned the full circuit and run-off areas with the UHP and followed up with a beam sweeper to leave the surface ready for the new paintwork designs.
