Following the Miami Formula E race at Hard Rock Stadium, our motorsport team returned to site to transition the venue from race mode back to its year-round Miami identity, removing the visual footprint of the ePrix and reinstating the stadium’s signature look.
That means one thing in particular: bringing back the unmistakable “aqua” blue synonymous with the Miami Dolphins, the stadium’s home team.
When post-race reinstatement begins, there are typically two approaches:

For street circuits or locations undergoing layout changes, UHP water blasting is essential. It completely removes race event markings without damaging the substrate, restoring the surface to its original state. It’s precise, chemical-free, and ideal when reconfiguration is required.
However, at Hard Rock Stadium this year, the most efficient solution was different.
In cases where the surface layout isn’t changing (and the base structure remains suitable), covering the artwork is significantly faster and more cost-effective than full removal because:
As the stadium required a swift return to its permanent Miami branding, overlaying the Formula E sponsor graphics and FIA track markings provided a clean, uniform finish without the need for heavy removal works.
This approach is especially valuable in multi-use venues that transition rapidly between sporting events, concerts and large-scale activations.

Our team carefully covered the race-specific branding and regulatory markings, reinstating the stadium’s year-round colour scheme and ensuring the venue looked exactly as expected for upcoming events.
