Our UK team (including the robot) worked with Westfield London to create the new Nature Reserve trail. Our ground graphics formed the approach that will lead visitors through the reserve.
Situated behind the Southern Terrace at Westfield London, the reserve will give the general public, students and schools an interactive experience that teaches them about the importance of nature, biodiversity and our environment.
As an accessible space, the trail we painted needed to be bright, clear, safe and engaging.
Our ground graphics team enlisted the help of our robot to assist with the application.
Using water-based paint (which is kinder to the environment) to apply the creative design, the robot painted the shapes and patterns over the 100m approach.
This was our robot’s most intricate design to date, which challenged its capabilities, however it came through with a brilliant finished result.
