Roadgrip has installed the car park markings at the new Whitehouse Medical Centre in Milton Keynes. The health centre will provide vital health care facilities to 22,500 local residents following the growth of many new homes as part of the city expansion plan.
The advanced health centre covers 30,400 sq ft and includes minor surgery and recovery rooms, consulting rooms, nurse-led treatment rooms and a pharmacy. The facility will also house a cafe, educational training and space for police and ambulance.
Our line marking team applied markings to designate car park bays, pedestrian crossings and give-way junctions.
With the expected level of attendance, it’s essential that wayfinding around the car park is made clear to avoid confusion at the new site and improve safety. We therefore applied white directional arrows, yellow hatched markings and clear wording to clearly mark out the flow of the new car park. Drivers and visitors will now be able to easily navigate their way around the external site.
