If you’ve ever stepped inside Gumball 3000’s headquarters in London’s Notting Hill, you’ll know it’s not your average office.
Founded by British entrepreneur Maximillion Cooper, Gumball 3000 began as a 3,000-mile supercar rally and has evolved into a global lifestyle brand blending automotive culture, music, fashion and art. Its HQ reflects that energy – a cool, creative space filled with cars, artwork, pinball machines and even a bar.
It made perfect sense that the outside should match the atmosphere inside.
Our team were brought in to transform the car park at Gumball’s Notting Hill base into a fully branded basketball court, turning a functional space into a bold brand activation area for events, content and collaborations.
Converting a car park into a sports and event space for super cars isn’t just about colour, it starts with the surface.
We installed a dark, durable anti-slip resin floor coating across the entire area, creating a seamless, high-performance base that’s safe, resilient and tough enough to handle event use. Resin systems are ideal for brand-led environments like this because they offer strong adhesion, long-term durability and consistent slip resistance.
In short: it looks sharp, but it performs properly too.
Once the resin base had cured, our team set out and installed fluorescent basketball markings in Gumball 3000’s signature branding colours.
The lines were measured and applied with precision to maintain authentic court proportions, while the bold fluoro orange lines make the space pop – especially at night, under event lighting and through the lens of a camera.
The result is a space that feels unmistakably Gumball: graphic, energetic and designed to stand out.
Inside the building, the cars, artwork and arcade machines create atmosphere. Outside, the new basketball court now does the same.
This project shows how surface markings and expertise can be applied creatively to brand environments. By getting the preparation right and using high-performance coatings, a standard car park becomes a permanent activation space that reflects the personality of the brand.
