In July 2025, our Director, Richard Powell, joined an incredible line-up of track operators, engineers, and motorsport suppliers at CONE 25, the annual motorsport safety conference hosted by Geobrugg Motorsport.

Over four packed days, the event took us on a journey through some of Europe’s most iconic circuits, starting in the Netherlands and wrapping up in Germany. It was an unforgettable tour, filled with big ideas, great conversations, and the chance to showcase what Roadgrip Motorsport is all about.

A Circuit Tour Like No Other

CONE 25 wasn’t your typical sit-down conference. It was a travelling event, moving from circuit to circuit, giving attendees hands-on access to the infrastructure and safety systems that keep top-level racing on track.

We kicked off at Zandvoort in the Netherlands, the fast and flowing coastal circuit that’s become a fan favourite since its return to the Formula 1 calendar. Then it was on to Zolder, a Belgian gem with serious motorsport pedigree. From there, we headed to the legendary Spa-Francorchamps (one of our favourites at Roadgrip), and finished up at the Nürburgring, one of the most demanding and historic racing venues in the world.

Each location brought something different to the table, and the tour gave everyone the chance to talk shop, share expertise, and see real-world examples of safety and performance systems in action.

Sharing the Roadgrip Story

As part of the speaker line-up, Richard gave a presentation on Roadgrip Motorsport’s capabilities and global portfolio. covering everything from our branding and track marking work in Formula 1 and Formula E to our custom solutions for street circuits, permanent tracks, and everything in between.

He talked about the way we approach:

  • Track branding and sponsor visibility, balancing visual impact with driver safety

  • Specialist paint systems for different climates, surfaces, and racing formats

  • High-pressure delivery timelines at international events

  • And showcased some of our most exciting projects from circuits all over the world (with some ‘guess which circuit?’ fun at the end)

It was a great opportunity to show how Roadgrip fits into the bigger picture of global motorsport, and how we help tracks and promoters deliver world-class racing experiences.

A Global Motorsport Meet-Up

CONE 25 brought together people from every corner of the motorsport industry including circuit managers, series organisers, safety experts, and suppliers all under one roof (or, rather, across four world-class circuits).

There were technical talks, hands-on demos, and plenty of time to connect. Whether it was chatting over coffee at Spa or sharing ideas trackside at Zandvoort, the energy was all about collaboration and progress.

Looking Ahead

We’re hugely grateful to Geobrugg Motorsport for hosting such a well-organised, inspiring event. It was great to see so many familiar faces and meet new ones who are just as passionate about motorsport safety and performance as we are.

We left CONE 25 full of new ideas, insights, and opportunities, and proud to be part of such a forward-thinking, global community.

Here’s to the next one!
