Roadgrip Motorsport has completed the track markings for the official launch of Silverstone’s new karting circuit, a facility designed to bring the same level of precision and professionalism associated with one of the world’s most iconic racing venues to a new generation of drivers.
While karting operates at a very different scale to Formula 1, the principles behind the work remain exactly the same.
Our team installed the sporting lines and layout markings across the circuit, ensuring the lines were clearly visible and correctly positioned whether viewed from a kart at ground level or from trackside.
Kart Silverstone has been built with five different configurations, allowing for a range of layouts that can be adapted for different race formats, driver abilities and events.
This flexibility means that the track markings had to be clearly defined with lines that guide drivers instinctively at speed, regardless of which layout is in use. That means careful planning and precise application to ensure that markings work together without confusion or overlap.
Silverstone is synonymous with high standards in motorsport, and the karting circuit has been developed to reflect that.
For Roadgrip, this project was about translating the same level of accuracy and finish we deliver on international race tracks into a smaller environment. The expectation doesn’t change, only the scale.
