Our global motorsports team travelled back to the beautiful Mandalika circuit in Lombok to train MGPA staff on track painting and help them deliver the track painting for this year’s MotoGP event.
We’ve been involved in this international street circuit since is inception in 2021. Our Indonesian team were contracted to manage all track operations for what was a brand new circuit for the region. Using our extensive expertise in track design, we worked with local teams and partners to create the venue from scratch, ready for its first major event with the World Super Bikes championship.
Two years in and the circuit has seen some exhilarating, high profile races on its stunning coastal track.
As a company, we always aim to utilise local labour wherever possible, injecting working opportunities into the communities we work. It was an honour to train up local residents to apply the sporting lines and track markings to the standards expected by the worldwide racing authorities.
