It’s the lead up to the Formula 1 Rolex Belgian Grand Prix 2021 and Roadgrip Motorsport have been busy track line marking for motorsport events all over the calendar for F1 and MotoGP. This week it was all about theĀ Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps.
The track at Spa in Belgium is a beautiful one and our team have been delivering the race track line marking of edge lines, verges, grid and pit lanes using FIA homologated paint to enhance it even further. This is the FIA-approved paint that provides consistent and predictable high levels of grip for the cars.
This is especially important as the circuit is known for its unpredictable wet weather – something our team had to contend with while applying the track markings. As ever, we adapted and remained flexible to ensure we could work around the rain to complete the work on time.
Another interesting and lesser known fact about the FIA paint is that it uses water-based materials, which are environmentally-friendly and sustainable too.
Well done to the Roadgrip crew who completed the full works within a week against the challenging weather and Covid restrictions.
