Our Roadgrip Flooring team have completed works for a large warehouse that required 90 new pallet bays and sealer applied to the exposed concrete floor.
Due to the constant traffic and load from forklifts and pallet trucks, our client needed shot-blasted lines to mark the new bays with a clear, acrylic concrete sealer on top for added surface protection.
Our team set to work, completing the job through the night in one shift to minimise disruption to the workforce.
Each bay measured 22m long, which we shot blasted at 100mm wide before spray painting for extra visibility. We then chose a specific type of acrylic sealer (rather than a water-based sealer) due to the works being in their chiller department. The internal temperature is 2c, so we needed a product that would cure as quickly as possible at low temperatures.
The works were completed at 4am which left time for drying before the working day commenced.
