As the final chequered flag fell on Sunday night at the F1 Singapore Grand Prix 2025, and Elton John’s encore echoed around the Padang, the Roadgrip Motorsport team was already back in action at the Marina Bay Street Circuit. While festivities continued, our crews were out alongside the fence and bridge teams, working through the night to return Singapore’s streets to normal.
Having installed all the circuit markings and cleaned and textured the surface in the sweltering Singapore heat ahead of the event, we then returned to dismantle the temporary track and restore the city post-race. Our priority was blacking out the track edgelines and using our UHP removal system to remove the race-day advertising cleanly and safely, ensuring the roads were spotless and ready for everyday traffic.
By lunchtime on Monday, our work was complete. As overbridges came down and sections of crash fencing were removed, Singapore began to transform once again from world-class race venue to bustling city centre. By 05:00 on Tuesday morning, the Marina Bay area was fully reopened, which is a remarkable turnaround after one of motorsport’s most exciting weekends.
From preparation to clean-up, we’re proud to have played our part in delivering another unforgettable Singapore Grand Prix, and to leave no trace behind once the lights went out.
