The Roadgrip LATAM team has successfully completed the horizontal demarcation works for the new Kingstown Port in Saint Vincent and the Grenadines – a completely new facility built from the ground up to strengthen the region’s maritime infrastructure.

Commissioned by the project’s main contractor, AECON, our scope covered more than 4,600 m² of markings across the port’s internal roads, safety zones, and container areas. The work included street demarcation, pedestrian crossings, safety signage, and container bay markings, ensuring clarity, safety, and operational efficiency throughout the site.

Our team worked solidly for two months, navigating both tight logistics and the Caribbean storm season. Because the port construction was still ongoing, we didn’t have access to large continuous areas ready for marking. Instead, we adapted on a daily basis, moving between sections as they became available and adjusting schedules to maximise productivity during dry windows between heavy rainfall.

Despite the challenges, the collaboration between Roadgrip and our partner, AECON, was excellent. Their flexibility and communication allowed us to coordinate efficiently and keep progress steady, even when the weather and site conditions made that difficult.

In the end, the project was completed to the highest standard, with the client expressing their satisfaction with both the quality of the work and our commitment to working alongside them to deliver on time.

For Roadgrip LATAM, Kingstown Port represents more than just another successful demarcation project, it’s a symbol of how teamwork and flexibility can make great things happen, even under the toughest tropical conditions!
