Roadgrip Highways have returned to the Falkland Islands to apply the all important road markings to the newly constructed road between Port Stanley and Mount Pleasant.
We sent one of our experienced thermoplastic teams to fly south for the winter to assist the Falkland Islands Government in lining the newly constructed Port Stanley to Mount Pleasant Road. This newly constructed road is gradually replacing the gravel tracks that connect the Falkland Islands settlements.
Despite it being summer in the South Atlantic, our teams still had to battle the elements, the winds in particular, to ensure the markings were applied to our highest standards.
This was Roadgrip’s seventh visit to the Islands and on this occasion we were also able to help out The Falkland Islands Cricket Association by adding the markings to their new all-weather multi sports surface too.
With a renowned logistics process, our international road marking teams are able to mobilise crew and equipment throughout the world, quickly, competitively and professionally.
