Roadgrip Airports has returned to Panama to complete runway painting works across the country’s international airports, continuing a multi-year partnership focused on safety, performance, and regulatory compliance.

For many years, we’ve provided ongoing airfield maintenance throughout Panama, delivering essential services including runway rubber removal, friction testing, and marking renewals across the nation’s busiest aviation hubs.

High-Performance Runway Markings for Panama’s Aviation Network

For this phase of work, our team repainted markings across three runways, using a water-based acrylic paint system enhanced with Type III glass beads in accordance with FAA specs. These beads are engineered for high reflectivity, dramatically improving nighttime and low-visibility guidance for landing aircraft.

The system delivers:

  • Excellent retroreflective performance
  • Fast drying times to minimise operational disruption
  • Strong durability in Panama’s hot, humid climate
  • Environmentally safer application compared to solvent-based systems

Supporting Airport Safety Across Panama

Our long-term maintenance partnership in Panama is built around airfield safety. The region’s growing aviation sector demands robust and proactive airfield maintenance, and we’re proud to support it with high visibility runway markings, friction testing and runway rubber removal.
