Ahead of the 8 Hours of Spa FIM Endurance World Championship action at the Circuit de Spa, Francorchamps in Belgium, Roadgrip Motorsport was on site to carry out vital line marking maintenance across the track, ensuring everything was up to the highest safety and visibility standards before the race.

Our focus was on touch-ups and full refreshes to the most worn or weathered markings, including the heavily used areas around Turn 9, where the solo endurance motorcycle starting grid is located. These lines take a beating throughout the season, and keeping them sharp is essential not just for aesthetics, but for clarity and rider safety.

Few circuits in the world are as iconic, or as demanding, as Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps. With its sweeping elevation changes, legendary corners like Eau Rouge and Raidillon, and a rich history in both car and motorcycle racing, Spa is a favourite among teams, drivers, and fans alike. Our team love working on the track too!

For this project, we:

  • Refreshed the braking zone markings

  • Repainted the starting grid for solo endurance motorcycles

  • Reinstated the 1,500-metre white centre line on Dakar Road, the internal circuit road that supports event logistics and operations

All paint used was anti-slip and homologated for motorcycle racing, ensuring maximum grip and visibility under endurance race conditions, including the possibility of wet weather – a frequent factor at Spa.

To minimise disruption and keep to the tight schedule, our team worked through the night, navigating cool conditions and long hours to complete the job ahead of the weekend’s track activity.

At Roadgrip Motorsport, we’re proud to support events like the 8 Hours of Spa, where precision, performance, and safety go hand in hand. Whether it’s a world-class race circuit or a critical support road behind the scenes, we ensure every line meets the mark.
