Roadgrip Motorsport has completed a full track painting refresh of the TT Circuit Assen in the Netherlands in preparation for the well-attended MotoGP event.
With so many eyes on the track, spectators and drivers included, it was important the track markings made a high impact.
For this event, similar to the World Super Bikes work we completed here earlier in the year, we painted every inch of the circuit’s kerbs, edge lines, run off areas, grid and safety car lines.
We also applied a water-based paint to the breaking markings on the grass areas.
On the run off areas, we applied logos in FIM approved anti-slip paint.
Because this is such a busy venue that hosts events and track days year round, we applied a removable formula of paint to the temporary edge lines and kerbs that would need a quick change post-event. This specific paint can be quickly removed with high pressure water.
Our teams were treated with wonderful weather which meant we could turnaround works in a short time. With three teams on site, we were able to prep the track and remain throughout the event for any touch-ups before returning post-race to remove the paint ready for reconfiguration.
