Roadgrip Motorsport USA has completed the full installation of track markings, run-off areas, surface branding, striping and wall graphics for the IndyCar street circuit in Arlington, Texas.

Street circuits bring a different level of complexity compared to permanent race tracks. Every element has to be built into an existing urban environment, often within tight timeframes, while balancing the needs of racing, safety and the city itself. From the sporting lines on the asphalt to the branding on the barriers, every detail plays a role in how the circuit performs and how it looks on race weekend.

Painting a Circuit on Live Streets

Unlike purpose-built venues, a street circuit starts as a functioning road network. That means transforming public roads into a race-ready environment through precise line marking, layout setting-out and surface preparation.

Our team installed all striping and circuit markings across the layout, ensuring drivers have clear, consistent visual guidance at speed. These lines must be applied with absolute accuracy, as they define braking zones, racing lines and track limits in a setting where there is little margin for error.

Alongside this, we created bold run-off areas and large-scale surface branding designed to stand out both trackside and on broadcast.

High-Performance Pavement Coatings for Safety and Impact

To deliver both performance and visual impact, we applied a water-based acrylic anti-slip coating across key areas of the circuit. This system transforms standard road surfaces into high-traction zones while also providing a strong, vibrant base for event graphics.

The coating enhances skid resistance and grip, particularly in braking and run-off areas, helping drivers maintain control in demanding race conditions. At the same time, it allows for bold colours and crisp graphics that elevate the overall presentation of the circuit.

This combination of safety and design is essential in modern motorsport, where surfaces must perform under pressure while also delivering a visually engaging experience for spectators and global audiences.

Branding Installation Across the Circuit

Branding is a major part of any street circuit, and in Arlington it extended across both the track surface and the surrounding walls.

Our team installed large-format sponsor graphics using a combination of stencils, spray systems and hand-finishing techniques to ensure every logo was sharp, consistent and correctly positioned.

Temporary Striping Designed for Removal

One of the key challenges with street circuits is that everything installed must be removed quickly after the race.

The coating systems used are designed to be cleanly removable once the event is complete, allowing the streets to be returned to their original condition quickly and efficiently. This ensures minimal disruption to the city while still delivering a world-class racing environment during the event.

Delivering Track Performance in Motorsport

From large-scale trackside branding to high-performance surface treatments, the Arlington IndyCar circuit is a showcase of what’s required to bring a street race to life. Find out more at Roadgrip Motorsport.
