When our team normally works in Las Vegas, we’re typically preparing the street circuit for a major motorsport event, but this time our work for the Las Vegas Grand Prix focused on a different area of the venue: the parking lot.

Away from the race track, Roadgrip LLC has just completed a 750-bay car park line marking project at The Plaza, helping the venue to expand its parking capacity for the wide range of events it hosts during the off-season.

Expanding the Parking Lot

With major events continuing long after the Grand Prix weekend, the Plaza needed to reconfigure its existing parking layout to accommodate more vehicles and improve flow across the site. Rather than simply repainting what was already there, the project required a rethink of how the space was used.

Parking Bay Removal

Our team began by removing the existing parking bay lines using Apex water jetting equipment, a highly effective method that strips paint cleanly from the surface without damaging the underlying asphalt. This approach allowed the car park to be reset entirely, ready for a new layout.

Parking Lot Reconfiguration

Once the new layout was agreed, our crews installed fresh bay striping across all 750 spaces, delivering clear, consistent markings designed to withstand heavy use during busy event periods. As with all Roadgrip projects, accuracy and durability are as important in a car park as they are on the track.
