As part of our long-standing support of Formula E, Roadgrip Motorsport has been back on site this week installing the track markings and run-off layouts for the upcoming Miami race.
For the first time, Formula E heads to a new venue in the sunshine state: The Hard Rock Stadium.
With a new layout to bring to life, precision was everything. Our team set out the sporting lines and run-off areas using Roadgrip’s specialist software and VR goggles, allowing us to map every line digitally before a single drop of paint hit the surface.
This approach ensures millimetre accuracy, even on complex temporary circuits, and allows designs to be checked, refined and approved virtually before installation begins. It’s a faster, smarter way to deliver consistent results, which is particularly important when working to Formula E’s demanding timelines.
Once set out, all track markings and branded areas were applied using FIA-approved anti-slip paint, engineered to deliver the grip levels required for elite motorsport.
These coatings are designed to perform under heavy braking, tight cornering and variable weather conditions, giving drivers confidence while maintaining the sharp, broadcast-ready visuals Formula E is known for.
Safety and aesthetics go hand in hand; every line has to look right on camera and perform perfectly at speed.
From established street circuits to brand-new venues like Miami’s Hard Rock Stadium, Roadgrip continues to support Formula E with the same approach we apply worldwide: detailed planning, precise execution and proven materials.
With the circuit now marked, branded and race-ready, Miami is set for another electric weekend of racing, and we’re proud to have played our part.
