Roadgrip Motorsport is proud to have once again supported the ABB FIA Formula E World Championship, bringing our specialist track marking and branding expertise to the Jakarta International E-Prix Circuit. This unique fixture on the Formula E calendar stands out as the only permanent circuit used during the season, which brings different challenges and opportunities compared to temporary street tracks.
Working closely with our local partners at Roadgrip Motorsport Indonesia (RMI), we delivered a full scope of work that included the application of FIA-approved anti-slip paint, sponsor branding, and striking trackside designs. RMI’s local knowledge, skills, and access to vehicles on the ground were invaluable in delivering this high-spec project to Formula E’s world-class standards.
As with many Formula E events, the Jakarta leg came with its fair share of stormy weather and the usual complexities of working internationally. But thanks to our UK-based logistics team, who expertly manage the movement of specialist equipment and personnel around the globe, we remained on schedule and ready for race day.
Because this is a permanent circuit, our job isn’t quite over when the race ends. We’ll return to restore the track by covering the branding and returning it to its standard form to make sure it’s ready for local events and future races.
