We’re proud to announce the launch of Roadgrip LLC, our dedicated US branch of Roadgrip, marking a major step forward in delivering high-performance surfacing and striping solutions across North America. At the helm is Kurt Pearson, our new General Manager for Roadgrip USA, and a man who brings not just years of technical experience, but an authentic passion for motorsport and aviation infrastructure.
With over 17 years in aviation pavement maintenance globally, Kurt has built a career on getting things done fast, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Since 2008, he’s been on the front lines of striping, crack sealing, and surface treatments, often during tight closure windows and unpredictable conditions.
Used to working on runways around the world, Kurt thrives under pressure. Whether he’s coordinating pavement works during short overnight airport closures or problem-solving on complex surfacing jobs, he’s the person you want when the clock is ticking and the margin for error is zero.
As a lifelong NASCAR fan (and a recent convert to the world of Formula 1), Kurt brings his personal enthusiasm to Roadgrip’s growing motorsport division in the US. For him, the link between runways and racetracks is crystal clear: both demand absolute clarity, surface integrity, and safety.
“Whether it’s landing a plane or hitting a corner at 180 miles per hour, you need a smooth, clear, FOD-free surface. There’s no difference — it’s all about protecting the asset,” Kurt says.
His deep understanding of pavement behaviour allows him to identify performance issues before they become costly problems, helping tracks preserve their surfaces and get more value from their investment.
Kurt believes in more than just delivering a great end product. He’s passionate about maintaining long-term relationships with every track and client.
“Many racetracks don’t fully understand their own surface condition. I want to bring the knowledge that helps them take a long-term view, to protect the asset, prolong the investment, and preserve the track. The goal is always to be proactive, not reactive,” he explains.
That means regular check-ins, ongoing advice, and continued collaboration long after the last stripe is laid.
Kurt will be working closely with our sister company R3 to provide engineering expertise and quality control across all track-related projects. Together, Roadgrip USA and R3 will offer a full turnkey solution, from digiflags and intelligent marshalling systems to surface preparation, profiling, painting, and striping.
Whether it’s a temporary circuit or a permanent motorsport venue, we’re here to bring all the solutions to the track.
Kurt is already forging new relationships with track owners, operators, and motorsport organisations across the US.
“Motorsport is my passion. I love the energy everyone brings when we’re talking track design, safety, and performance. There’s a real alignment when quality is the shared goal, and that’s where Roadgrip excels.”
With Kurt leading Roadgrip USA, we’re confident in delivering the same world-class service and surfacing innovation we’re known for across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East – now tailored for American tracks.
From racetracks to runways, from striping to full-surface solutions, Roadgrip LLC is here to set new standards in the US.
