Formula 1 returned from its summer break with the last of the Dutch Grand Prix events at Circuit Zandvoort.
After five memorable years of Formula 1 racing since the Dutch Grand Prix returned to Zandvoort, this was the final edition of the race, and Roadgrip Motorsport was once again there ahead of the weekend preparing the track.

The job included installing the circuit’s sporting lines and the unmistakable orange markings that have become such a defining feature of Formula 1 at Zandvoort.
Since Formula 1 returned to Zandvoort in 2021, orange has dominated the circuit, the grandstands and almost every available space around the venue. The colour has become inseparable from the Dutch Grand Prix, creating some of the most recognisable scenes of the Formula 1 season.
Roadgrip’s work ahead of the race included refreshing those iconic orange areas alongside the sporting lines required around the circuit, ready for the arrival of the Formula 1 teams.
Long before the grandstands fill and the cars leave the pit lane, work is taking place across the circuit to get everything ready.
Sporting lines need to be clearly defined, painted areas refreshed and the visual details that distinguish one Grand Prix from another put back into place. At Zandvoort, those details are particularly important because the circuit has such a strong, unmistakably Dutch, visual identity.
It’s a great example of how circuit markings have evolved beyond purely functional lines.
Colour has become part of the personality of modern race venues, helping make a circuit immediately identifiable on television before viewers have even seen a track name.
