After the high-speed action of last week’s Formula E race in Tokyo, Roadgrip Motorsport returned to the circuit – not to install branding this time, but to remove it.
Using ultra high-pressure water technology, our team removed all trackside markings, including full-colour ground graphics, branding, and sporting lines. It’s a delicate balance: the equipment is powerful enough to leave no trace of the race, but gentle enough to preserve the surface underneath.
Set around the Tokyo Big Sight convention centre, the temporary street circuit transformed part of the city into a world-class racing venue. Once the chequered flag had waved, it was our job to return those streets to normal, quickly and cleanly.
From vibrant grid artwork to complex circuit lines, every element was cleaned away with precision. Within hours, what had been a professional race track looked just like any other part of the city.
At Roadgrip Motorsport, we’re proud to support events from start to finish ensuring the legacy is memorable, but the footprint is not.
