Roadgrip Retail were engaged to refurbish the entire car park at Westfield, White city – London’s largest covered shopping centre. The existing surface of the car park needed preparation before we could apply the new instalation so the team set to work to remove all 120,000m2 of the existing resin flooring on each of the three decks of the multi-storey car park. The team needed to use diamond grinding, planetary grinders and captive shotblast finishing to remove the resin.
When the car park floor was clear and cleaned, we installed the new polyurethane resin flooring to the car park decks. The resin was applied by hand for the very best finish, before adding line markings and logos in the brand colours.
The works took three months and were completed on schedule to the works programme.
